I hate to see you go. I hope that someday you will be able to crawl out of your respective spider holes and resume this, what has become the highlight of my day for weeks now, ever since discovering these podcasts posted on the Doctor Who newgroup.
I too agree with you about “The” Colin Baker, he was magnificent as the Doctor and totally fucked over by those at the BBC.
I saw Colin Baker at a Doctor Who convention in Rochester, Ny back in 1984. I was 13 at the time and rode a Greyhound bus by myself for 4 hours to get to the event. Mr Baker was himself quite an extraordinary speaker, brilliantly witty and entertaining. We watched “The Two Doctors” and “Revelation of the Daleks” which was at that time considered to be the last episode of the series. Too bad Nicola Bryant wasn’t there though, at the time I was totally mesmerized by those enormous bikini clad knockers of hers, in fact Mr. Baker commented about how he “very much liked working with Nicola Bryant” in reference to her endowments and the scene in The two Doctors when she is lying on a butcher table with her cleavage pointed directly at the camera and he comes in and gives her the mother of all wet T-Shirts when he throws water on her chest to wake her up.
But I digress.
Again, thank you for your excellent program and I hope that you will resume it at some point in the future.

I see that THE Colin Baker has now issued a statement categorically distancing himself from this podcast, on his official website.
I’m sure that you will edit this comment, as you have frequently done with others in the past.

I don’t suppose you’ve visited Colin Baker Online recently, have you? Allow me to quote:

So not only have you managed to get THE Colin Baker (ketchup be upon him) to publicly disassociate himself from you, but you’ve managed to ruin it for any genuine fans who might have wanted him to record something for them. I hope you feel proud. In truth, you’re lucky that he doesn’t sue. Because you certainly could be under British libel laws. As it is, I’d suggest taking that off your site and never mentioning it to anyone again.
Now, rather than continuing to whine on about how hard done by you are, why don’t you try manning up and owning your own actions. Every single thing that has happened with regards to this whole shebang is down to *your* actions, nobody else’s. All because you didn’t have the emotional maturity to handle a *good* review. Yet you’re still pissing and moaning as if it’s everybody’s fault *but* yours.
Incidentally, Sci-Fi Now’s latest issue gives your podcast a 1 star review. My advice to you is to ignore this fact, rather than going on another full-frontal attack. Because you’re really not very good at them, are you? Time to grow up.

Just so that you know that you’re not fooling anyone. I did listen to your latest podcast and it makes it clear that you’re both a hypocrite and a liar. You moan about how hard-done by you are because people don’t think you tell the truth. Then you go on to say that you never meant to imply that THE Colin Baker (ketchup be upon him) endorsed your podcast. But the very post of yours that you mention says, and I’ll quote it directly: “THE Colin Baker John Levene, Joey Reynolds and several other people of IMPORTANCE endorse our top ranking podcast. ” Now, if you didn’t mean to say that THE Colin Baker endorses your podcast, then why did you write that THE Colin Baker endorses your podcast?
Who is it that’s being revisionist? Yup, that’s you. And the reason people think of you as a liar and a hypocrite is because you are a liar and a hypocrite. Stop making excuses and start being a man, for fuck’s sake.

First of all thank you for alerting me to it.
I don’t want to contact them directly to tell them to stop it because, frankly I don’t know how to do so without giving them my contact details and as I have already been taken for a mug by them once (when I recorded the message about the “Twin Dilemma” for a fan at a Convention having been told it was for a couple of Dr Who fans who were twins!) - I don’t want to give them more fodder.
The sad things is that from now on I will have to refuse to record things for fans in case they are dregs like these two.
Anyway I am not sure whether you have the opportunity to convey to the world at large that I have never been asked by these two idiots to approve their website and I would never have any connection with something so unpleasant, vulgar and offensive.
I have put a statement on my website http://www.freewebs.com/colinbaker/latestnews.htm making it clear that I have nothing to do with it and will ask the Drwhoonline guys to do the same.
Please feel free to do so on your website if you would like to.

The SFX forum is just a clique of twats called off topica. I’ve stopped reading the magazine because of them. They should close the forum down someone said they’d set fire to themselves on that forum because of off-topicans bullying them.
